Q What is CSPRM?
A CSPRM stands for Civil Servants Pension Redress Movement. CSPRM is an NPO organization and Movement fighting on behalf of members.
Q What is a NPO?
A “A Non-Profit Organization (NPO) is a legal entity established for public benefit purposes, rather than for generating profit for its members.”
Q Do I qualify to become a CSPRM member?
A CSPRM is for all government workers that were discriminated against between 1961 – September 1998.
Q How do I apply to become a member of CSPRM?
A Complete the online form on our website www.csprm.org.za. Click on Become a Member for our different membership forms.

Q Should I complete an online form or the hard copy form?
A The online form is the quicker and easier way to become a member. The hard copy form will take more time to be uploaded.

Q What is the SA - Associated Membership?
A The SA - Associated Membership is our membership form for our deceased members.

Q What is the NAM - Membership
A The NAM - Membership is the membership form for our Namibian members.

Q Why do I need to pay to become a member?
A “To support the organization's operations and activities. These fees contribute to the NPO's overall revenue, which is then used to further its stated goals and fulfill its mission.”

Q What is the membership fee?
A There is a once off registration of R50.
Membership fee payment options:
Monthly - R20
Quarterly - R60
Half-yearly - R120
Yearly - R240

Q Should I make a payment before I complete a membership form?
A No. First complete the online form to become a member before making payments.

Q To whom do I send the hard copy form to?
A Send it to our membership.admin@csprm.org.za email.

Q What is the “Branch of which I belong to” on the membership form?
A The Branch is the province or city you're from for example Western Cape or Cape Town Belhar.
Q The online form only allows for a debit order; can I still complete it if I want to make a direct payment instead?
A Yes. Put an “x” under the debit order details.

Q How long does the online form take to process once submitted?
A The online form takes about a month to process and for Head Office to receive the updated list.
Q I have completed the online form, what is the next step?
A Contact your Branch Chairperson to be added to a WhatsApp group. If you don't know who your Branch is, please contact Head Office to assist.
Q When will I receive my membership card?
A Membership cards are printed in batches for all the different provinces, branches and regions. The cards will be posted on the specific WhatsApp group for collection.
Q Do I need to complete a membership form before the Spreadsheet?
A Yes. First become a member of CSPRM before sending information for the Spreadsheet.
Q What is the Spreadsheet?
A The Spreadsheet is the Excel Sheet your Branch Chairperson will complete on your behalf after you have completed your membership form.
Who do I send the information of the Spreadsheet to?
To your Branch Chairperson or to membership.admin@csprm.org.za
Q What information is needed for the Spreadsheet?
A Name and Surname, ID Pension number, Persal number, Department, Start and exit date
Q Who is the Spreadsheet for?
A The information for the Spreadsheet is what Parliament is requesting from our members.
Q If I am registered with my Branch, am I automatically registered with CSPRM as a member?
A No. First complete the online form to be a member before registering with a Branch.
Q How do I stay updated with news of CSPRM?
A Our main form of Communication and Updates on the process are sent on the CSPRM WhatsApp groups. Contact your Branch Chairperson or Head Office to add you to a CSPRM WhatsApp group.

Q What do I do If an incorrect amount was debited from my bank account?
A Contact our office staff to fix the problem before doing a reversal, as the bank will charge you and and CSPRM.
